Barcode

A barcode is a square code that you find on a paper ticket purchased from the driver or on an E-ticket bought from the webshop or through the @Transdev app. We will explain how to check in and out using a barcode.

Checking in and out with your barcode

You can scan the barcode at the check-in machine. Hold your ticket 5 to 15 centimeters below the scanner and make sure the red dot is in the center of the barcode.

The machine will make a sound and show a green light if your ticket has been successfully checked in or out. If your ticket is no longer valid, the machine will show a red light and an error message. The validity of your ticket is often indicated on the ticket itself.

Barcode on a ticket purchased from the driver

If you buy a ticket from the driver, there will be a barcode on this receipt. At the moment you purchase the ticket on the bus, you are automatically checked in and do not need to check in again. However, when you leave the bus, you must check out using the barcode.

If you want to transfer, you can scan the barcode on the other bus. The machine will indicate whether your ticket is still valid for the transfer. Also, when you get off here, you must check out again.

Barcode on an E-ticket or ticket via the @Transdev app

Your E-ticket has a barcode that you must use to check in and out on all buses. You can print your E-ticket or show it on your mobile phone. If you purchased an E-ticket through the @Transdev app, you can scan this barcode directly from the app in the bus.
